To promote students' awareness of national identity and appreciate different cultures and races of the world, a heritage club was initiated in the school. It is the club that brings students together to get history out of textbooks and into their daily lives. By exploring the world around them in an exciting and energizing way, they can become better students and ambassadors of our school by participating in community service, engaging in history in multiple different facets, and celebrating those that came across.
This Club is an umbrella for several activities associated with the Social Studies Department. Students gain knowledge of history through research, site visits, and exposure to guest speakers. It also helps students to learn and develop historical research and writing skills.
